Yes, I offer in-home service where I come to your home to take measurements and personally deliver the finished garment back to you.

I specialize in all types of alterations including hemming, taking in, letting out, zipper replacement, repairs, adjustments, evening wear, formal wear, and prom dress alterations.

How long does tailoring usually take?

Turnaround time varies by project complexity, but I aim to provide high-quality results with quick turnaround times. Contact me for specific timing on your project.

Do you serve areas outside of Windham?

Yes, I serve Windham, Portland, Westbrook, Gorham, and surrounding Maine communities. In-home service is available throughout the area.

Before Your Appointment

Please bring the shoes you plan to wear with your dress, or a similar pair with the same heel height and style. If you plan to wear shapewear under your dress, please bring it as well — this helps ensure the most accurate fit and proper hem length.

Payment
A 50% deposit is required to begin work for wedding dress alterations only. The remaining balance will be paid throughout the alteration process and at final pickup.

Pricing
The average cost for prom, evening, or bridesmaid dress alterations is $80–$250.
Wedding gown alterations typically range from $350–$1000.

Final pricing depends on the complexity of the work, dress construction, and the amount of alterations needed. More detailed or customized work may increase the cost, while minimal adjustments may reduce it.

Payment options accepted: cash, Venmo, Apple Pay, or tap-to-pay card payments (Visa or Mastercard only). Cash and Venmo are preferred. Please note that a small processing fee (~2.5%) applies to card payments to cover transaction costs. At this time, only tap payments are supported — swipe and chip insert payments are currently unavailable.

Fittings Schedule
All follow-up fittings and pickup appointments will be scheduled in person during your visit to ensure the best possible fit and a smooth alteration process.

Pick Up
I don’t have strict appointment times for pickups, but please send me a quick text before arriving so I know you’re on the way and can try to finish with my current client before you come by.

If you see the “Busy” sign, it means I’m currently with a client and may not be able to let you in right away, but I do see that you’ve arrived and will welcome you in as soon as I finish up. Thank you so much for your patience!
